Should i confess my love for him?

so i'm in 7th grade and my crush is in the 8th grade. ok so i just began to like him about 3 weeks ago but i have always liked him just a bit but now i like him even more than i ever did. so now at recess i go to the gym with my friends for recess and he always comes to my little group of friends at that time and we always talk. we always laugh (he a really funny guy but at the same time sweet with a sorta badside lol). we talk everyday at recess and sometimes lunc. one time he whispered 'hey y' in my ear while hugging be from behind but i playfully slapped him that day lol. should i confess my love for him. he's done other things but i just get this vibe from him that he likes me back but maybe its all in my mind. anyways if you think i should confess then how? tell him through facebook? send him a candygram? NOTHING UPFRONT! I WILL GET NERVOUS :(!
