Any advice for a Christmas holiday in Disneyland?

A couple of years ago my family went to WDW for 2 weeks at Christmas, we went for the week of christmas and the week after christmas and what we did was for the week of christmas we did the other sightseeing places like: kennedy space centre, sea world, shopping malls and we went to pirates dinner and on christmas day we just stayed in and then the next week we went to disney and there wasn't as much people.
